WOW - what a ride

Last week I attended the funeral of somebody very close to me. I was reminded of how full and wonderful life she had had, and that we really were celebrating her life.
I was reminded of one of my favourite quotes and how true it is:

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, ‘Wow' What a ride!
